Sarah Bismack, LMSW

Sarah works with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, grief, trauma and adjustment to new or ongoing medical diagnosis. Sarah is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy but uses an eclectic style with a strong emphasis between the body, mind and spirit.  

Sarah starts from a position of self-acceptance and builds on the resilience you already have. Her goal is to provide a safe comfortable place free of judgement that we can build on your skills. Sarah uses trauma informed interventions with an individual approach to help you with healing. She has helped people of all ages through challenging times we all experience in life. 

Sarah earned her Master’s of Social Work degree from Wayne State University and her Bachelor’s degree from Baker College and is certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). Along with private practice Sarah has worked as a medical social worker helping people adjust to acute and long term changes to their health.
