I work with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, grief, trauma and adjustment to new or ongoing medical diagnosis. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy but use an eclectic style with a strong emphasis between the body, mind and spirit.
I start from a position of self-acceptance and builds on the resilience you already have. My goal is to provide a safe comfortable place free of judgement that we can build on your skills. I use trauma informed interventions with an individual approach to help you with healing. I have helped people of all ages through challenging times we all experience in life.
I earned my Master’s of Social Work degree from Wayne State University and Bachelor’s degree from Baker College and am certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). Along with private practice, I have worked as a medical social worker helping people adjust to acute and long term changes to their health.
