Many people come to therapy feeling emotionally exhausted — overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or stuck in patterns they can’t seem to break no matter how hard they try. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone, and you’re in the right place.

Hi, I am Stephanie and I specialize in working with adults navigating trauma, PTSD, complex trauma (CPTSD), addiction issues, and behavioral addictions. Trauma doesn’t always look the way we expect it to.

Sometimes it shows up as difficulty setting boundaries, people-pleasing, or codependency. Sometimes it’s chronic anxiety, emotional numbness, or trouble knowing what you need, or feeling like you’ve lost track of who you are outside of taking care of everyone else. These patterns make sense as survival responses, but they don’t have to be permanent.

Creating a Space Where You Can Be Fully Yourself

My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy should feel like a genuine safe space — somewhere you can show up fully as yourself without fear of judgment. I work hard to create an environment where clients feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely understood. Healing happens through honest connections and learning real, practical tools for navigating life’s challenges, not just talking about them.

Whether you’re dealing with racing thoughts that won’t quiet down, trauma that still affects your daily life and relationships, or patterns that leave you feeling stuck and frustrated, we’ll work together to make sense of what’s happening and create meaningful, lasting change.

My Background and Training

With over 15 years of clinical experience across mental health, trauma, addiction, and neuropsychology and neurorehabilitation settings, I bring a depth of training that informs every aspect of my work. I hold certifications as a Certified Addiction Counselor (CAADC), Certified Trauma Clinician (CFTC), and Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS), and I am a Licensed Limited Psychologist (LLP) in Michigan.

I understand how deeply trauma can shape a person’s sense of identity, their relationships, their nervous system, and their ability to feel safe in the world. Therapy with me is individualized and compassionate. My goal is to help you understand yourself more fully, build healthier patterns, and reconnect with the version of yourself that may feel buried underneath years of surviving.

You don’t have to stay stuck. I’d be honored to walk with you on the path toward healing.
