My areas of specialization include anxiety, depression, grief and trauma. I have extensive experience helping people with adjustment to complex medical diagnosis working with both the individual with the diagnosis and the family member(s). This includes work as an oncology and bereavement counselor. I also work with individuals trying to cope with the fallout from contentious divorces so they can successfully navigate the process and reemerge with self-confidence and ready for the next stage of life. My work is primarily with adults.
I have over 20 years of experience and during that time I have helped people with a variety of struggles. My goal is to create a caring space where clients feel safe to explore all their emotions and gain a deeper understanding of themself and the strengths, they possess to meet their challenges. My hope is for clients to leave with a sense of hope and direction.
