I specialize in helping both adolescents and adults overcome trauma, anxiety, depression and grief. With 20 years of experience in the field I have guided many people to nurture their strengths and develop skills as they face a myriad of challenges. Much of my work is trauma informed working with many people who endured childhood abuse and neglect. I bring a compassionate approach and work intently to make sure my clients feel safe and understood. I am committed to helping clients learn DBT and CBT skills that can help them navigate life’s challenges, not just while in therapy but also as they move forward.
I received my Master’s Degreee in Social Work from Eastern Michigan University. Along with working in private practice I have also worked in Community Mental Health, Hospice, Children’s Hospital and Home Health care.
