My areas of specialization are anxiety, depression, addiction, and adolescent behavioral problems. I work with individuals, couples, and families and really enjoy helping teens and families cross the amazing but sometimes turbulent waters of adolescence. In addition, I have worked with people of all ages on increasing their confidence and self–worth.

In sessions, I use a variety of therapeutic approaches, but always start with a person-centered strength-based approach. I strongly believe that everyone has the capability to change and grow. The therapy process is used to determine where the person is at and what strengths they bring to the process. From there, I work on increasing those strengths and using them as the building blocks for creating the change they want. Realizing those changes really helps the person to feel confident in themselves and hopeful about the future.

I am a licensed clinical social worker and a certified addiction counselor with 8 years of experience. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Wayne State University.
