Kathryn Brown, LMSW, CAADC

I am a licensed clinical social worker and a certified addiction counselor with 7 years of experience. My areas of specialization are anxiety, depression, addiction, and adolescent behavioral problems. I work with individuals, couples, and families and really enjoy helping teens and families cross the amazing but sometimes turbulent waters of adolescence. In addition, I have worked with people of all ages on increasing their confidence and self–worth.

In sessions, I use a variety of therapeutic approaches but always start with a person-centered strength-based approach. My strong belief is that every person who walks through my door has the capability to change and grow. The therapy process is used to determine where the person is at and what strengths they bring to the process. From there we work on increasing those strengths and use them as the building blocks for creating the change they want. Realizing those changes really helps the person to feel confident in themselves and hopeful about the future.

I am here to help. Please don’t hesitate to reach out for an appointment.
