My areas of specialization are anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, ADHD and trauma. While I work with clients of all ages, I specialize in adolescents and young adults, particularly young adolescent males with anger management struggles. I am deeply committed to helping my clients feel and function better in their lives. My focus is on helping clients develop insight, tools, and skills they can use in day to day life.

I am also an Associate Professor at the Hazeldon Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies. I received my PH.D in Counseling from the University of Toledo and my Master’s degree in Counseling from Detroit Mercy University. I have a Certification in Advanced Addiction Counseling, and teach classes in addiction counseling at Oakland University and the University of Toledo.
