Jen’s areas of specialization are anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, ADHD and trauma. While she works with clients of all ages she specializes in adolescents and young adults, particularly young adolescent males with anger management struggles. Jen is deeply committed to helping the clients she works with to feel and function better in their lives. Her focus is on helping clients develop insight, tools, and skills they can use in day to day life.
Jen is also an Associate Professor at the Hazeldon Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies. She received her PH.D in Counseling from the University of Toledo and her Master’s degree in Counseling from Detroit Mercy University. Jen has her Certification in Advanced Addiction Counseling. She teaches classes in addiction counseling at Oakland University and the University of Toledo.
