Jordan has experience working with adolescent and young adults on issues related to depression, anxiety, grief, work conflicts, career exploration, and interpersonal relationships. He uses researched proven therapeutic techniques to help clients build skills to face their current challenges. Jordan is passionate about helping people uncover their personal strengths and resiliency to manage the adversities we all face in life.
Jordan earned his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Eastern Michigan University and is a National Certified Counselor. He completed his internship at New Perspective Counseling, building strong therapeutic relationships with his clients and helping them to gain insight and skills necessary for change.
Prior to starting his studies in Counseling, Jordan earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of New Mexico. He has over 15 years of experience in the corporate world holding leadership and management positions. He also coached competitive youth baseball for three years. These experiences give Jordan a well-rounded view of not just the theoretical but real-life issues that high school athletes, college age students and early career adults often face.
